In TV STUDIO PRODUCTION students learn how to be part of a team that works to create a live TV show in a multi-camera studio. Students become writers, directors, camera operators, and on-camera talent, planning a show to go on the air live at the end of the week!
Students have full access to Swampscott High School’s TV studio, using professional equipment to produce studio shows that will be aired to the community on Swampscott Educational Access TV station and on the web.
Students with no previous video experience will be taught the basics, while students who already have experience can build on their skills.
This program is taught by Joe Douillette, the high school TV/Film Production teacher, along with Swampscott High School TV students and recent graduates.
Class size is limited, and COVID-19 protocols will be enforced, including mask-wearing and physical distancing while in the studio.
