In this one week clay experience, we will dive into clay, ceramics, and fun & creative artistic expression! Students will learn about and practice various techniques in handbuilding with clay. We will explore forms, decorative styles, and best practices with the material in order to create usable and food ready ceramic pieces to take home, such as cups and bowls. We will also practice some wheel throwing. At the end, we will heat up the work in the kiln and students will be able to pick up their work to take home.
