With a focus on creative writing, we will create picture books, poetry, graphic novels, short stories, comic strips, and even our own Mad Libs. If you love reading or writing, join this awesome week long program for interesting read alouds, unique writing prompts, and fun activities. We'll take a writers' workshop approach to the creative process with time to share your work (if you want to), and give/receive feedback. We'll also make arts & crafts projects that complement our writing. At the end of the week, you will have a digital portfolio of your work to share with family and friends.
Lisa Strack, Stanley Elementary School teacher, will be the instructor for this course.
