Variety of cupcakes
A great introduction to cake decorating.  Students will impress their friends in no time at all. In this class you will learn the three most important basic aspects of cake decorating: icing consistency, pressure and proper angling.  You will learn decorating techniques, such as borders, flowers, transfers, writing, just to mention a few. Also learn to fill and decorate cupcakes.

*An adult must be signed up to accompany their middle schooler for this class. One adult can accompany 2 middle schoolers.

The follow is the list of materials students will need to bring the first day of class.

Decorating icing- recipe will be emailed before first class

Apron, piping bags,gallon size ziplock bags,kitchen towel,scissors,4 disposable cups, a little squeeze bottle with water and pencil and paper to take notes

First week you will need to bring cupcakes unfrosted,  1 recipe of frosting, and piping bags.
 
Second week you  will need to bring a cake unfosted, 2 recipes of the frosting , piping bags, cake board, and a container to bring cake home
 
Third week you will need to bring individual treats with a flat surfaces such as cookies, brownies or rice crispy treats. 2 recipes of frosting and a container to bring them home.
 
Fourth week you will need to bring a cake frosted, 2 recipes of frosting, cakeboard, and a container to take your cake home. 
 
Each week the instructor, Reggie Pagan, will tell you what to bring for the following class.

Students can get their supplies at Michael’s, Walmart or Dollar Tree

The class is always very enjoyable!
