This is a group specially designed to support the seismic shift into parenthood. This group is a safe space to discuss:
- feeding your baby
- navigating diaper blow outs, baby gas and burps
- sleep deprivation
- identity after birth (getting out and about, back to paid employment or not, exercise, self-image, etc)
- intimacy, relationships, redefining division of labor
- self care and getting back to feeling like yourself
The goal of this group is to build community with other parents and have a safe space to talk through thoughts and questions related to parenting/postpartum.
Cost of class covers enrollment for two adults and newborn aged 0-4 months for 6 class sessions.
Facilitated by Kathleen Stern, owner of Boston Area Doulas. Kathleen is a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Infant Feeding Specialist, as well as a Childbirth and Newborn Care Educator.
NOTE: The last class of this session will meet on Tuesday, November 22nd due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
